ABOUT

The British Origami Society is a group devoted to the art of paper-folding, also known by its Japanese name ‘origami’. Their library and archive, housed in The Minories Garden Room, is one of the world’s largest collections of Origami resources, containing well over 4000 books, plus a similar quantity of magazines, journals, convention packs and catalogues.

The society also organise local and national meetings, have hundreds of members worldwide and publish a bi-monthly magazine. Visits to the library itself can be arranged so you can view the rarer items. Please contact the society directly, and well in advance to organise this.
