An exhibition illustrating the wealth of talented artists in the region.
Hayletts Gallery will be showcasing well-known late and contemporary artists from Essex with all works being for sale. There will be a significant overlap between prominent artists from the twentieth century onwards, with artists in the Victor Batte-Lay Collection.

Bygone Essex artists of note in this exhibition include: Charles Bartlett, Edward Bawden, Bernard Cheese, Henry Collins, Walter Hoyle, John Nash, Eduardo Paolozzi, John O’Connor, Pam Dan, Dione Page, Michael Rothenstein, Humphrey Spender, & Valerie Thornton.

Contemporary Essex artists include: Richard Bawden, Simon Carter, Chloe Cheese, Ben Coode-Adams, James Dodds, Maggi Hambling, John Doubleday, Ian Hay, Robina Jack, Olwen Jones, Elizabeth Morris, Barbara Peirson, Pam Schomberg, Anne Schwegmann-Fielding, Tessa Spencer Pryse, Michael Smee, Alison Stockmarr, and Chris Wenlock.
