Help us to support emerging artists, celebrate East Anglian art and foster creativity in the community.

About our funding

The Minories is run by two allied charities, The Victor Batte Lay Foundation, who own the building and collection, and We are the Minories, who run the programme and spaces.

As charities we receive no core-cost funding or local authority support. All of our work to support emerging artists and ensure access to visual arts for all is made possible only by our own fundraising efforts through trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations. Our overheads alone are significant.

We are, and will remain, free at the point of entry because we believe that art should be accessible to everyone. You can help us by getting involved and donating your skills, time or money.
