History Talk: Saxons and Norman Colchester

The next in our series of history talks: Saxon and Norman Colchester

Nick will look briefly at the evidence for the Saxons and Vikings in Colchester, and then describe the major effect that the Normans had on the town by looking at their institutions and buildings, not all of which are still extant today.
