Spring is stirring, She is ready to knock at the door… we must make ready to greet her. We must set the space…
Gemma Garwood is a Neurodivergent artist who celebrates “radical noticing” and uses as many different ways to explore and relate to people, and the places they love, as she can. Often attracted to folkloric tellings and to ritual practices she invites you to join her for a day of creative celebration and sharing in the moment of quiet hope just before spring arrives.
Imbolc is an old festival, a good excuse to start thinking about all the good things that are on the way. This day of workshops invites you to:
10am – 12 noon // Meet me outside and explore multidisciplinary ways of reading, writing, performing and making with the local landscape. We will find a number of different ways to experience the park at the death of winter and the dawning of spring before returning to the Minories Pop-up to record our findings.
Wheelchair accessible route. We will travel at a speed and distance that is mindful of the requirements of the group. All ages and abilities welcome.
12:30 – 3pm // Join me in the Minories pop-up to make spring themed zines, Assemble rejuvenating bath teas and craft traditional Brigid’s Crosses.
