James is a self-employed artist and illustrator. He has lived in Colchester most of his life but found a passion for creating whilst living away from the city. His artwork is inspired by history, nature and the fiction that inspires him.

I have a passion for exploring myth, science-fi and human struggles. Great joy is taken in narrative and historical-based subject matter. Finding the best way to visually describe a theme or illustrate stories is a key process I have practiced.
